Doorstep Crime 999 - New BBC1 Programme

Doorstep Crime 999 is a new television series  hosted by Gloria Hunniford addressing the problem of distraction burglary and rogue traders.  The first episode is being screened on Monday 20th February at 11am.

In the first episode, Gloria meets the south Londoner who lost his house and half a million pounds to a serial conman. Plus the shocking home movie footage, discovered by Lancashire Police, which helped convict a family of rogues whose crimes netted them a fortune.

Many of the examples used in the programme were based on examples provided by Neigbourhood Watch members from across the country.
