Update for the beats of Bingham, Manvers, Trent, Cranmer and Thoroton
Following the priority setting meeting in November 2011 the local community chose Burglary Dwelling for the police to focus on for the next period.
The entire area was to be patrolled, with particular attention to those streets where previous burglaries had taken place, which related to current burglary intelligence or where people had previously been a burglary victim.
The safer neighbourhood team have been engaged in operation in relation to burglary dwelling. This has continued over the Christmas period into the New Year.
The Police ran another operation in the build up to Christmas and into the new year. Amongst other things, this operation involved additional resources carried out additional patrols in the Bingham area.
A number of arrests in relation to offences of burglary within the Rushcliffe area were made, which were spread across many beat areas.
At the start of 2012, Bingham was showing dramatic reductions in Burglary Dwelling offences, as compared with the previous year. |
